Our approach
Faith first, practical thinking alongside
LuminaPath brings together daily Scripture and prayer with educational exercises inspired by cognitive and behavioral ideas. It is a companion for personal growth, written with care about what it is and what it is not.
Scripture
The Word comes first
Each day opens with the reading and one complete verse from it, quoted word for word from an openly licensed translation.
See an example
On Wednesday, March 10, 2027, in Lent, the Gospel is John 5:17–30. You read the passage in your Bible, the app shows one complete verse from it, and a short question helps you reflect.
Thinking skills
Notice, test, act
Exercises help you separate facts from interpretations, weigh evidence, find a balanced thought and try one small step.
See an example
A work deadline moves forward by two days. The automatic thought is “I will never get this done.” The evidence against it: you met a tighter deadline before. A balanced thought: “It is tight, but I can finish the core and ask for help with the rest.”
Life
Grace in ordinary things
Health, work and relationships get one manageable action each day. The record describes practice, never personal worth.
See an example
On January 1, 2027: walk outdoors for 20 minutes at a comfortable pace, clarify the single most useful outcome for the day at work, and share tea without phones with your wife and ask about her best moment today.
The minimum viable day
When a day is hard, do the short version
Two minutes of prayer, one balanced thought, one caring action for someone and one manageable health action. After a missed day, simply start again without trying to make up everything.
- Two minutes of prayer
- One balanced thought
- One caring action for someone
- One manageable health action
LuminaPath is not therapy
LuminaPath supports personal reflection and healthy habits. It does not diagnose, treat or replace care from a qualified professional. If distress persists or affects daily life, please speak with a qualified mental-health professional. If you are in danger or crisis, contact your local emergency services now.
Words we use
CBT
Cognitive behavioral therapy: a well-studied approach that looks at how thoughts, feelings and actions affect each other. LuminaPath offers educational exercises inspired by its ideas, for self-help and reflection. It is not therapy and does not replace a qualified professional.
Minimum viable day
The short version of the day for hard days: two minutes of prayer, one balanced thought, one caring action for someone and one manageable health action.
Evening Examen
A short evening prayer from the Ignatian tradition for looking back over the day with God. LuminaPath offers it to people who choose the Catholic tradition; everyone else sees an Evening Reflection.

Canon-aware: Catholic Bibles have 73 books, Protestant Bibles 66. The 7 deuterocanonical books are in the WEB British Edition, Douay-Rheims and néo-Crampon. No bundled Arabic edition has them, so those readings show their reference — never another book in disguise.
